… well, kinda.
In 2014, we began offering private Pilates classes every Tuesday & Thursday mornings to a small group of 4 in unit A5. Word spread and the group grew so fast that we added Saturday morning classes. Next, we added yoga for variety.
As groups kept growing, we reached out to instructors to take over & teach to their hearts’ delight. By then we knew it was time to make it official.
OM Body Space Enterprise was formed in June 2015 for the purpose of:
Creating a retreat hub in the heart of Kuala Lumpur for the mind, body and spirit to rejuvenate through mindful movement practices, meditations, sound therapy and other healing modalities in creative and fun-filled classes, workshops, trainings and retreats.
This also included our Airbnb homestay - OurBahagiaSpace in unit A2
In 2019, we grew into OURBODYSPACE PLT - which consisted of OurBodySpace, OurBahagiaSpace and the new addition - OurBumiSpace (unit A1). OBS became very much known as an incubator for anyone to wanted to test their new idea to a small-scale audience or to kickstart their new passion project.
By 2020 and throughout the pandemic, we took a hard look at our business modal. Restructuring OBS was indeed scary but we chose to priorities our wellbeing. Thus we became a venue rental for healers & holistic confidants - which defines all of us in the health, wellness and healing realm. We are not just teachers or therapists, but trusted companions walking the same journey with our tribe and fellowship.

Mama OBS aka LoveLoveLiz /OurBodySpeaks aka Iban Sesat - Physically petite yet energetically grand, Elizabeth brings fun to the seriousness of wellness & healing. She is the head of the business: managing the facilitators, the online presence and Airbnb. Honouring her nomadic roots, she flutters from town to town, country to country learning about cultures and how to be more expansive in our way of living.
Papa OBS aka OurBodySound - Tall in stature yet owner of a gentle soul, Zarul’s gifts come in the form of colours & melody. He is the heart of the business: every painting on the walls, furniture piece & decor found in OurBodySpace, OurBumiSpace & OurBahagiaSpace was carefully selected by him and placed to invoke the peace and love of life in all its layers. He is also the man behind sound healing through good vibrations. An equally avid traveller with a love for various awakening ceremonies and music retreats.
Together with a wonderful, beloved team on the ground, we have wholeheartedly manifested & maintained our spaces for anyone to make their sanctuary and home. We embrace our guests with open arms & open hearts always, and we are truly grateful for the blessings we have been given to be of service to all who come through our home.
